High Shank Quick Release Presser Foot Clamp for quick change on industrial lockstitch machine. This is easy to use on high shank presser feet that have a slot. It has a spring so when compressed it releases the presser foot. You can adjust the presser by winding the screw tighter.
I love this for when I am sewing in zippers and require 3 different feet to do the job. It's so much quicker, just a push of the spring loaded button and the foot falls off, and you just simply push it again to attach the new foot. It saves having to find the screwdriver every time you need to change over the presser foot.
I don't recommended it if you use a presser foot with a hole often (like an embroidery foot) as it takes a couple of minutes to install. Works on high shank machines.
Note from Melanie Jayne: "This is probably one of the best inventions out, simple as it might be, it makes it so much faster to change between presser feet", I highly recommend it if time is money. I have "Jack Lockstitch" machines and I put these on all of them.
