Melanie Jayne's online collection of custom couture gowns. Since 1993 Melanie Jayne has been designing & creating beautiful bridal & evening wear. The following photographs showcase a few of Melanie's beautiful gowns, handcrafted over the years.


Photographed below is a school formal dress for Emma designed in 2016.
Her gown was inspired by Dejah Thoris, the princess' character from the movie "John Carter."

Anna's school formal dress 2009 in emerald green silk satin. 
 


Amelia married in 2017.

Danni & Jarrod tied the knot on 2008. Danni wore an original Melanie Jayne
silk gown. As it turned out over the next few years Melanie Jayne was
honoured to also dress her 2 younger sisters at their own weddings.
A real family tradition.


In 2007, Felicia married Otto at the Bonville International Golf Resort.
Melanie made Felicia a simple silk halter neck gown.

Hannah & Shane tied the knot in Sydney in 2019.
Hannah's silk habotai ballgown had a 3m long detachable train, dramatic enough for her cathedral ceremony.

Jade married in 2016 in Coffs Harbour.
Melanie made Jade a lace & silk satin ball gown with a detachable
tulle overskirt.


Jazz married her sweetheart in 2017 in her custom designed Melanie Jayne gown.

Jessica married in 2009, Coffs Harbour, NSW.
Jessica's silk satin gown was hand pleated using one long cut of
silk and a knotted halter neck strap.

 
Wine coloured satin bridesmaids for a New Zealand country style wedding in 2003.


Karina married 2017 in NSW.
Karina who was expecting their first baby, had a custom designed lace
gown with bohemian flared sleeves and long lace train.

Kerra & Matt married in Grafton NSW in 2018.
Kerra had a custom designed silk and french lace ballgown. 


Emerald green silk satin and a hand beaded bodice with black spinels
was the gown designed for Kimmie's school formal in 2012.


Kylie married in 2009 in Coffs Harbour.
Melanie made a custom silk chiffon gown which featured a layered mermaid skirt in
ombre colours from blue to green with tiny covered buttons.


Emma married Hudson in Feb 2020 at Aanuka Beach Resort.
Emma is the youngest daughter of Melanie Jayne.
She wore a white silk gown with a heavy beaded lace.
Hidden in the lace design on the back of the train was the infinity symbol,
along with tiny lace seahorses signifying her love of the sea.


Below is Lily wearing her great grandmothers wedding dress (1945)
for her debut in 2017. Melanie Jayne made a new silk petticoat to replace the one that had been lost over the years. It was worn underneath the vintage lace overdress. 
 
Megan married in 2019 in a white silk and french lace mermaid gown.
Custom made to fit her like a glove.


Mel married in 2017 in her silk & french lace gown, custom designed.


Melanie married in Coffs Harbour, wore a custom sized "Nadine" wedding
gown in the prettiest shade of magnolia pink beaded lace.


Michelle wore a halter neck chiffon gown for her wedding in Coffs Harbour
in 2010.

Natalie tied the knot in Queenstown NZ in 2015. Melanie custom designed
a lace bolero to go with her shell pink wedding dress.

Rebecca married in 2006. Photo taken under the Coffs Harbour Jetty.
Rebecca wore a custom designed silk 2 piece corset and skirt.

Rosalie married her Persian prince in Dec 2017. Rosie wore our fun "Aurora"
bridal gown in beautiful silk organza, with 24ct gold, fresh water pearls
and topaz beading.


Ruth married in Hamilton, New Zealand 1998.


Tianda married at Nana Glen, on 12.12.2012 @ 12:12.
She wore a 1920's style  silk satin gown. Just the right cut to show off

Zaiga married in 2006 in Coffs Harbour, in a custom designed 
red velvet and gold silk medieval style gown. She had handmade brick
beading down the front of the corset and sleeve detail.
